Rajasthan Vidhyut Vibhag Syllabus 2021 & Exam Pattern
Under Rajasthan Vidhyut Vibhag Bharti Syllabus 2021, 2 parts of the paper have been kept. In Part A, 60 questions from Professional Knowledge will be asked, which will be of 120 marks. That is, each question will be of two marks. 60 minutes will be given for this. Whereas in Part B, eight questions from Reasoning and Mental Ability, 36 questions from General Knowledge Rajasthan, 12 questions from General Knowledge World, India and General Science, 8 questions from General Hindi, 8 questions from General English and 8 questions from Mathematics will be asked. . All questions will be of equal marks i.e. each question will be of 1 mark. For Part B also 60 minutes will be given.
All questions will be objective i.e. multiple choice. Each question in Part A will be of two marks and in Part B, each question will be of one mark. There will also be negative marking in the exam. There will be negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer. A total of 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours will be given for the exam. Rajasthan Vidhyut Vibhag Bharti 2021 Computer Based Written Competitive Examination will be conducted through online mode. The question paper will be of 2 hours and will consist of objective type multiple choice questions only. The written test will be of 200 marks. There will be 2 hours for the exam. There will be 1/4th negative marking in the exam.
There will be two types of question paper in Rajasthan Vidyut Vibhag Bharti 2021.
- Part A : 60% Preference
The standard and syllabi of the examination will be of the level of Diploma in Electrical Engineering and its summary may be notified before the examination. - Part B : 40% Preference
Logical and Mental Ability, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Daily Science, General Hindi and General English.

- There shall be no ‘Interview’.
- To become eligible for consideration for appointment, candidates shall be required to secure minimum passing marks in Part-A & Part-B both or Phase-I, as the case may be,
as detailed below in the written competitive exams :-
(i) UR category candidates – 30% marks
(ii) SC/ST/BC/MBC/Ex-servicemen/PWD(PH) category candidates – 20% marks

Reasoning & Mental Ability:- Analytical Reasoning, Number series, Letter series, Odd man out, Coding-Decoding, Shapes and Mirror Images, Clocks, Seating Arrangements, Date Sufficiency, Blood Relations.
Mathematics:- Number System, Decimals & Fractions, Computation of Whole Numbers, Average, Time & Work, Partnership, Use of Tables & Graph, Time & Distance, Fundamental Arithmatic Operations, Relationship between Numbers, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Simple Interest, Profit & Loss , Discount, Mensuration.
GK & Everyday Science:- Current events including issues of State (Rajasthan), National & International importance, Persons & Places in recent news, Games & Sports, Science, Indian History, Civics, Geography, Indian Polity, etc., with special reference to Rajasthan.
Hindi General:- Tense, Grammar, Conclusion, Synonyms, Vocabulary, Word Formation, Subject Verb Agreement, Theme Detection, Antonyms, Comprehension, Passage Completion, Verbs, Correction of Mistakes, Article, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms and Phrases, Overlooked Passages
English General:- Tenses, Grammar, Conclusion, Synonyms, Vocabulary, Word Formation, Subject Verb Agreement, Theme Detection, Antonyms, Comprehension, Passage Completion, Adverb, Verb, Error Correction, Articles, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms & Phrases, Unseen Passages.
Rajasthan Electricity Department exam will be conducted online. In this, the center of examination will be in Rajasthan only. Earlier the center of Rajasthan Electricity Department recruitment examination used to come outside Rajasthan also. But this time it has been announced that its examination center will be in Rajasthan only.
